Fixture Spacing

Properly spaced path lights eliminate dark spots between fixtures and avoid the harsh look of lights that are too close together. We calculate spacing for each property.

Transformer Load Calculation

Every transformer is sized for the total fixture wattage plus 20 percent headroom. An overloaded transformer trips, dims fixtures, and shortens their life.

Bulb Temperature Selection

Warm white (2700K) is almost always the right choice for residential landscape lighting. We match bulb temperature to fixture type and use — no cold blue-white light in a residential garden.

Wire Run Planning

Underground wire runs are planned to minimize joint connections and maximize reliability. We sleeve every run that crosses a high-traffic area.

Expansion Planning

If you might add fixtures later, we design the initial system with capacity to grow. Adding fixtures to an already overloaded transformer is a common and preventable mistake.

Clean Installation

All wire connections made with proper weatherproof splice connectors. Fixtures set at consistent heights. Wire buried and tamped. No loose wire visible at grade.
